2. Eligibility

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Use the platform for legitimate employment-related purposes only

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that breach these conditions.

3. Platform Role

RuraLink:

  • Hosts job listings and user profiles

  • Facilitates applications between users and employers

  • May repost or aggregate publicly available job listings

RuraLink does not:

  • Guarantee job placement or hiring outcomes

  • Verify all job listings or applicants

  • Act as an employer or employment agent

You engage with other users at your own discretion and risk.

4. Job Listings & Reposted Content

Some listings may be sourced from publicly available platforms (e.g. social media groups).

  • RuraLink is not affiliated with these employers unless stated

  • We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of listings

  • Users should independently verify job details before engaging

5. User Content

You are responsible for all content you upload, including:

  • Profiles, resumes, job listings, and descriptions

You agree not to upload:

  • False, misleading, or deceptive information

  • Offensive, illegal, or inappropriate material

  • Content that infringes on others’ rights

We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.

6. Applications & Communication

  • Applications submitted through RuraLink are stored on the platform

  • Employers may access applicant information through the platform

  • RuraLink is not responsible for employer responses, hiring decisions, or communication outcomes

7. Payments & Boosted Listings

RuraLink offers optional paid features (e.g. boosted job posts).

  • Payments are processed via third-party providers such as Stripe

  • All fees are clearly displayed before purchase

  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

8. Data Processing & AI Features

RuraLink may use automated systems (including AI tools) to enhance platform functionality, such as:

  • Semantic tagging of job listings or profiles

By using the platform, you consent to this processing.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Breach these Terms

  • Engage in harmful, abusive, or fraudulent behaviour

  • Undermine the integrity of the platform

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

RuraLink is not liable for:

  • Job outcomes, employment disputes, or contracts between users

  • Loss of income, opportunity, or business

  • Accuracy or reliability of listings or user content

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

  • When you apply for a job, your submitted details are made available to that employer

  • Payment processors such as Stripe

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
